Take You There was composed and produced in Melbourne by the musician Cenred (pronounced ‘Chenred’) Harmsworth.

 

Cenred played every single instrument himself, in many cases using samples and sophisticated technology.

 

The goal was to produce a musical work that was immediate, popular/commercial, had great variety, produced to the highest possible standard and had a totally 'live' feel.

 

Cenred has meditated all his life, and although he is a Christian, he has explored many different spiritual paths, religions and movements.

 

This becomes obvious when listening to the album, as it reflects much of his understanding and life experience e.g. listen to 'The Sage's Journey' 

 

To his mind, this also represented a wonderful opportunity to show that 'art' can be produced at any age i.e. in life age should never be a barrier or a constraint -  as one is only as old as one feels!

 

The album is two (2) hours long by design - as it captures not only Cenred’s many years of composition but also as a whole - tells a story. The material on the album also represents only a small fraction of his work as a composer.
